   I was raised Mormon and live in Utah. Been an atheist for going on 20 years now. While the Mormon church does do some good, I’m not sure that counterbalances all the bad they do through all the psychological mind f-ing of their members & their attitudes that they have some right to try and force their narrow minded views into laws that everyone has to follow. The religion is so incredibly easy to debunk, it causes so much cognitive dissonance for a lot of members who’ve been indoctrinated their whole lives to not ever question the church. A lot of the time, the members that are the loudest about how devoted and pious they are are the very same ones with the most cognitive dissonance and their own personal “temptations” in regards to the issues they are loudly lambasting.
